Autumn was just around the corner they said

Soon the weather would cool

All the leaves would turn yellow and red

How many did they fool?

No-one can tell when the weather will change

from hot as burning coal to frosting  chill

The weather map now is way out of range

Passed the rainbow and over the hill

So what can we do to make things right

In order to save the earth

Let’s work together and join the fight

Let’s help nature give birth

And behold the soft light of the hour

When clouds morph into grey

And marvel at the  great power

That turns night into day
