I’m sure there are many many little girls

Who have extra special twirly curls

But there will never be one quite as curly

As the Hollywood cherub known as Shirley

Young Shirley could do almost anything

She could dance up a storm and she could sing

She could charm everyone  both young and old

She was as smart as a whip and extremely bold

So remember Shirley this easter weekend

For one could never have a better friend
